Joe specialises with car body repair including bumper, velour, glass and vinyl repair.  When I met with him, he was happy to work anywhere and in the rain! I was half-expecting him to rush the job as it was raining quite heavily but he didn't.  Instead, he's done a very thorough job by removing a dent in my car, that's now invisible to me... the dent, not the work!

Here's a company that has it all.  Excellent website that is easy to navigate around.  Clean and concise web pages with no nonsense descriptions for their products, various payment methods including Paypal, a phone number that is geographic (not 0845 or 0870) and friendly staff at the other end who devote as much time as you need for the information you want about what products they sell (and they know their stuff too!)  And just when you think it don't get better than that, the delivery is by courier and is superfast.  On top of that, the products are packaged in a way that not even Royal Mail break what you've bought! Outstanding and by far the best online shopping experience to date.

Our mate Tim has his own car wash business in Raynes Park, at Shannon's Corner, Burlington Road, just inside the entrance to the Tesco Superstore in New Malden.  The business is doing well and there's even queues for the hands-on car wash that operates there.  It's thorough and worth the drive!

Recently arrived in the top part of the car park of the gardening centre, these guys are clean, quick and fairly thorough.  They might be so new that it explains why there's no queues just yet but it certainly won't be because of bad service... so I guess we should make the most of it!

The staff are so friendly and always helpful. It's not necessarily as cheap as other shops but the service makes it worth paying the extra.

I suffer with a weakness in my lower back area and Danny is superb at manipulating the area and more often than not, bringing about an instant good feeling that I refer to as an 'instant cure.'  I shouldn't really but he is so excellent at everything he does and I do seriously come out of there better and more agile than when I walked in.

This shop is stunning.  It has such fabulous ideas for gifts, it's difficult not to look like a shifty and lingering shoplifter...hahaha!  But seriously, never mind gift shopping for a loved one, I haven't stopped treating myself each time I go in there!  But I think it's because I'm also drawn to the high standard of customer handling by the staff there... Shellie and Caroline in particular.  But it doesn't end there... they're so marvellous and growing all of the time that there are branches in Cobham, West Wickham, Dorking and Cheam.

The nightclub is a smart well contained small venue situated away from the busy high street of Kingston Town in Surrey.  It's on London Road, Kingston.  From the red carpet area outside, you walk in to the reception area with cash desk and cloakroom and then through the double doors in to the downstairs night club dance floor.  It's been decked with 'Saturday Night Fever' dance squares and there's a stage and DJ's booth too.  The bar area is immediately on the right.  Upstairs, is an excellent chill out area where the music is only loud enough so that conversation can take place without screaming at one another.  There's a large plasma screen showing the downstairs dance area.

The Mint, Banstead

This is the best one so far.  The entire building is now 'non smoking' and the atmosphere has changed somewhat.  I go on a Thursday or Friday early afternoon.  The food is superb, the staff are so friendly and the clientele are perfect for a guaranteed aggro-free and quiet meal out!

The Grasshopper on the Green, Westerham (A25) 01959 562926

This is by far the most exquisite pub we've been to.  It's in the tiny village of Westerham which is Kent and Surrey borders.  It's on the A25 from Caterham.  The food is excellent and there's a no smoking restaurant area upstairs if the quaint countryside manner and open fire atmosphere downstairs isn't what you're after.

Harvester, The George, Morden

Food is good value and reasonable quality.  The service is fast and efficient and if you're there between 12 and 1pm, there's every chance you'll miss screaming kids and inconsiderate families.

Tattenham Corner, Epsom

New and refreshing restaurant and menu.  This place was originally a Beefeater restaurant and then changed to an Out and Out.  It's now, quite rightly, back as a Beefeater.

Just a beautiful, idyllic place to be.  It's not cheap which only means that considerate, well-bred folk dine there so you are guaranteed a pleasant evening out.  And with the food always superb, I love going there... when I can afford it!

This is just so perfect.  Jezz and I went there for the first time ever on 24 July 2008.  We took Joan and Hayley and had such a fab time.  The bacon sandwich is to die for (it's enormous) but the cream tea is superb too, oh and so is the sausage sandwich and Dolly's Special Breakfast.  <Well we didn't have all that in one sitting... Jezz and I went back two weeks later).  I have to mention the wonderful staff.  It's the best place to go for customer service and satisfaction (and those that know me well know that does some doing)!  Sally and Sophie are the best hosts for a fantastic meal out.  We have to mention Patsy too, she makes the scones... simply outstanding.  We've been back for a third time now... went with David on 13 August 2008.

This is a traditional fish and chip that has a very popular take away counter.  But the restaurant is so perfectly clean, tidy and welcoming.  The waitress is consistently excellent and friendly.  And the food is outstanding, hot and makes me want to return all of the time. Again, like the Dining Room, there doesn't seem to be any riff-raff there!
