Int he just the cutest?  This is Alfie,  Zoe and Neil's little son, in his posh clothes for Christmas.  This photo was taken at Nana Nikki's in Sutton at Christmas time in 2005.

Betty and Dad - 1982

This was Bet and Dad, on a sofa at Westmead Cleaners, Sutton.  Bet operated the press and Dad cleaned using the dry cleaning machine.  The cleaning business came to an end in 1985.  Bet lived in New Malden and Dad moved from the flat at the cleaners to a flat in Carshalton.  Betty sadly died Christmas Eve 2001 and then my Daddy passed away on 12 April 2008.

We're not sure why Bet's holding a hairdryer to a cake (hehe) but nonetheless, here she is, in her kitchen at New Malden, around 1997.

Dad - circa 1974

This is a rare and early photograph of Dad, taken behind the counter at his cafe, Elm Road, New Malden.  It was also the road where Dad was born and grew up as a child.  The cafe was situated just next to the railway crossing at the end of the cut, which are both still there to this day (2007).

Dad - 2001

Christmas Day 2001 and a very sad time.  It was the day after Betty had died and a difficult and yet bonding time for Dad and I.  This photo was taken just after he'd had Christmas lunch with Jezz and I.

This is Dad in the chair at Mayday Hospital, immediately after his cataract operation.  As usual, he's chatting up the female talent, shown here as the Nurse, Madeline, preparing his dressing for his eye.

Ethan, my Grandson... a glorious moment each and every time I look at any photo of Ethan. He was born on 30 April 2006 at St. Helier Hospital, Carshalton.

Gran - Christmas 1984

The Queen of the Alton Family, my Grandmother and hero. Francis Isobel Alton. I was brought up my Grandmother between the age of 1 to 11 in Sutton.  Gran's pictured here at one of Gwen's Christmas bashes, in New Malden when she lived in The Crescent. The drink is a gin and bitter lemon.

Me in the middle with sisters Michele and Nikola.  This was taken at Christmas time, at Gran's in Westmead Road, Sutton in 1976.  This picture brings back the memories of the out of bounds drinks trolley, home made cushion covers, Christmas string and matching pegs that snapped with any given amount of pressure... oh and Michele and Nikola's posh but completely hideous matching outfits. I'm only surprised I wasn't in one!
